Sour!
LEMON CHALLENGE
When life gives you lemons...
take a bite and try not to make a funny face!
That's our challenge to you, anyway. Show us what you're made of by tagging @Project2Heal in a video of you eating a slice of lemon and doing your best to not make a funny face.
Use #SourLemonChallenge in your post so we can easily find all of your videos!
so, what's the deal with lemons?
"If you can eat a lemon and keep a straight face, you're the kind of iron-willed individual we want to join our mission."
- CHARLIE PETRIZZO, FOUNDER/CEO
We'll be honest with you—training Labrador Retriever puppies to become service dogs has nothing to do with lemons. (Labs don't even really like lemons... trust us, we'd know!) But if you can handle a lemon without making a face, you're made of the right stuff to join our mission of reducing the time and cost necessary to provide a service dog to a veteran, child with Autism, or adult with disabilities.
(Now, that doesn't sound too sour—does it?)

here's how it works:
Once you've completed our video challenge—or at least given it your best shot!—your role in our mission is only beginning. We need your help to ensure that the 5 litters of puppies we're expecting in the next month have the supplies, nurturing, and training necessary to make them successful service dogs for individuals in need.
The single biggest way to make a difference with our mission is to become a monthly sponsor. We're thrilled to have your participation at any level—here's how you can make a difference:

it takes $5,000 to raise a litter of puppies to become service dogs, and 3 years to reach a person in need.
