Ryan Kules is a retired Army Captain who served for four years, from 2003 to 2007. In 2005, lost both his right arm and left leg in an explosion during deployment. Along with extensive therapy to re-learn how to walk and write, his service dog Griff has been a vital party of his recovery.
Brian McCrady is a retired Army Medic who has faced both physical and mental challenges as a result of his military service. Today, Brian is an advocate for the impact service dogs can have on the lives of veterans like himself—especially in regard to his own service dog, Chauncey.
