Join our chaperone program

Help change lives by opening your home to a world-class dog.

Become part of our growing family of volunteers who help others to receive the blessing of a service dog, through their work, time, and generosity. Millions of dogs from shelters are adopted each year, but our Chaperone Program allows you to bring home a world-class dog that will heal or even save veteran lives. (We think that's a great reason to give a loving home to one of our girls!)

Our mother dogs come from outstanding Labrador Retriever pedigrees and are tested for hip and elbow dysplasia, cataracts, and a multitude of other genetic recessive disorders. When you take one of these dogs into your home, not only are you getting a dog from one of the best pedigrees available, but you're helping to provide a service dog to a veteran, child with special needs, or adult with disabilities.

MEET OUR FUTURE MAMA DOGS

Help change the lives of people in need by opening your home to a world-class Labrador Retriever.

Bringing home a shelter dog may save the dog’s life. But when you take in one of our mother dogs (who produce an average of 7-8 puppies per litter), you’re allowing us to donate between 21-24 puppies that will heal—or even save—veteran lives.

Here are the amazing dogs we’re looking to place with a home in the Greater Charlotte area. Each one of them has a unique personality and would be an incredible addition to your home!

OUR MOTHER DOGS WILL CHANGE LIVES!

Pepper-62.jpg

"The Scuba Diver"

Pepper just loves the water and has plenty of playful, loving energy to share with a family who loves to play!

Copper-62.jpg

"The Explorer"

Copper is our "adventure" dog. She loves hikes and exploring, so she'd be a great with an outdoorsy family!

Charm-621.jpg

"The Goof Ball"

Charm is one of our smaller dogs, but she certainly has a big heart! She has tons of energy, but is a great listener.

Josie-623.jpg

"The Smiley One"

Josie is a loving dog with a cute wrinkle on her forehead. As her nickname suggests, she always looks like she's smiling!
