"Project 2 heal" donated Chauncey to Fidos for Freedom in Laurel MD who became my service dog. I know that I'm biased but he really is the best dog ever. He has changed my life so much in the last 8 months. I have so much more independence and I live a much fuller life with a P2H dog by my side. Keep up the great work! This veteran thanks you with all my heart. God bless P2H, Charlie and all who are a part of this great organization."

Yes, I want to heal a child or Veteran one puppy at a time!
The purpose of Project 2 Heal is to breed the best possible puppies and donate them to service dog organizations. We help shorten the time it takes to place dogs and lower the cost of placement to needy individuals or families.
According to a study by Paws With a Cause, fewer than one shelter dog in a hundred is capable of becoming a service dog. In their study they found that only one shelter dog in four was even adoptable. Charlie Petrizzo felt this was unacceptable so he created Project 2 Heal. He did so to produce dogs that have the proper temperament – and health – to make it through the training process. By teaming with service organizations he is able to realize his purpose in life, to provide needy children and families with wonderful service dogs.
